Common questions
The app cannot find a surface
Try a brighter area and a floor with visible texture. Move the device slowly. Avoid mirrors, very shiny floors and empty, uniformly coloured surfaces. Leave enough clear space to move safely.
How do I allow camera access?
Open your device’s Settings, find Maan AR under Apps, and enable Camera. Camera access is used to show your surroundings and detect surfaces for augmented reality.
Can I move the room or turn off the music?
Tap Choose another surface to place the room again. Use the Sound on / Sound off control to toggle ambient music.
A website opens, or the room needs to find its position again
The stand buttons open external websites in your browser. Return to Maan AR, point toward the original floor and move slowly to let tracking recover. If necessary, choose another surface. iOS may suspend or close background apps when it needs memory.
Which devices and connections are needed?
Maan AR requires an ARKit-compatible iPhone running iOS 15 or later. The room is included in the app. Internet access is needed for the LMS, avatar and virtual exhibition links. Those websites may have their own sign-in requirements.
